Ability to understand engineering #Engineer principles and applying them to technical tasks __ Design of prototype components and subsystems for rapid development of hypersonic #hypersonic propulsion systems __ Design using 3D CAD and develop thermal-structural systems from proof-of-concept to final manufacturable component. __ Perform analyses ranging from classical textbook methods and 1D spreadsheet calculations to Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations to predict structural, thermal, and/or fluidic behavior of systems/components. __ Document and communicate assumptions, inputs and proposed solutions to multidisciplinary teams for review __ Prepare drawings to manufacture prototypes or components of an experimental setup __ Support validation of new designs and technologies #technology through benchtop or larger-scale testing __ Prepare presentations and slides to communicate ideas and/or progress on projects __ Ability to work well in with Integrated Product Teams to create and verify novel design solutions that meet established program objectives and requirements (technical, cost, schedule)
