#Tesla is seeking a highly skilled and motivated #Mechanical Design #Engineer in the Autopilot and Electronics #Product #Design team to design various electronic modules for Tesla Car Computer group. __ The Engineer will lead the mechanical system design – enabling compute, connectivity, and similar features. __ Work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and develop implementations. __ Participate in prototype builds, component fabrication, testing and validation efforts. Provide hands-on support and perform data #analysis. __ Develop designs in CAD for both detailed parts and assemblies Perform tolerance analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and other simulations and analyses before releasing designs for production Create 2D drawings appropriate for production and inspection methods. __ Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews with suppliers and support tooling bring up.
