Ability to understand basics functions and specifications of items used in #engineering and #manufacturing. __ Processes purchase requests (depending on thresholds) add necessary information (e.g. Commodity Code (ESN), INCOTERMS, etc... __ Organizes, files, and maintains proper documentation of #procurement and business-related matters. __ Assists in contract negotiations and contract implementation. Maintains close communication with key suppliers. Places and/or participates in the process of placing purchase orders to suppliers. __ Analyzes material availability, manages purchase orders incl. tracking: checking of content, to ensure cost-efficient and on time supply of materials according to demand. __ Take care of compliance with Procurement rules of Siemens and usage of #Siemens contract partners and ensure the usage of competitive Terms & Conditions and by obtaining highest feasible savings. __ Evaluate vendor quotation to ensure that they are in line with technical and #commercial specifications required.
