Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance. __ Job Description Performs process monitoring and metrics tracking. May be graduate or non-graduate. Responsible for headcount control and other data collection used for final decision making Gains in-depth knowledge in a technical field. Uses previous experience and acquired technical expertise to #implement #policy/#strategy. Deep understanding of the forces driving the business; uses this knowledge to do your own work. Deep understanding of how your own team's work integrates with the work of other teams and contributes to the field. Some level of judgment is required, but with appropriate guidance, the individual is able to propose solutions outside of the specified parameters. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve simple tasks. Possesses technical skills and analytical thinking to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of their own team to make decisions. This level of work will likely require working as an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills, or as a junior professional leader with the ability to recruit and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members.
