You will undertake proactive maintenance and administration of Applications and operations tools in support of the delivery of the IT service. To improve system availability with proactive work to avoid outages and performance issues, with particular focus on Powershell Scripting, M365 build and run support for all used by colleagues. This includes O/S (VDE, Windows 11 & Windows 365) databases (Oracle, Informix, MySQL, Sybase, MSSQL, Teradata), sFTP, Storage Area Network, Spoolers etc. The operations tools include Company Portal, Intune, Orchestration, ServiceNow, PowerBI and TOPAZ. Assessing, developing, and implementing the infrastructure and server builds. Supporting business critical applications running within the area of responsibility of the team in ITS globally. Gathering, assessing, and communicating critical information on a timely basis, by interacting with a broad set of teams. Maintaining and helping further development of appropriate cost models to reflect changes in technology and provide key input to the overall Charging Model. Learning continuously, keeping up with all the quickly changing technologies and/or customer or ITS needs. Ensure that the applications and their support is undertaken based on the IT Operational standards, executed in line with the ITS Process and delivered within the requested timescales. Must Have Skills: PowerShell scripting (advanced) M365 Apps administration & support PSADT (PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit) for Packaging Application Troubleshooting (Packaging, Deployment, Compatibility Issues) Azure Cloud services Additional Skills: CI/CD Jenkins Application Lifecycle Management ServiceNow Patching and Patch Management Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for: As a Senior Software Engineer having Scripting and Cloud certification is a huge plus. Your primary focus will be PowerShell scripting and M365 administration, ensuring system availability, performance, and seamless software deployment will also be an integral part of this role. You are a technology aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of SCCM, Intune, Application packaging tools and M365 Apps (Office365) administration. You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.
