We're now looking Transport First Line Manager to provide first class safe, efficient and customer focused Tipping and Loading services and all collection and deliveries with DHL's customers and Networks. ✅ A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE Responsible for a team of 20 Colleagues including drivers, shunters and clerks. Safely and Effectively run the transport operation, managing rota's, driver allocation and incident management. Ensuring all legal requirements, company policies and procedures are adhered too in the daily execution of duties. Operate in line with company Health and safety policy and procedures, following approved risk assessments and ensuring live assessments of risks in the workplace. To participate in regular 1-2-1's with their nominated team. ✅ THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO Previous and practical experience as a Transport Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports Compliance knowledge ✅ WHY JOIN US?
