About the role: DHL is hiring a Senior Credit Collector Agent to join its Heredia, Costa Rica team. In this role, you will actively manage and coordinate credit collection for an assigned portfolio of customers in alignment with DP DHL process guidelines and policies in an efficient and cost effective manner. Additional tasks and accountabilities include but are not limited to: Main Responsibilities Actively promote and ensure DHL trading terms and conditions are being adhered to by the customer. Contribute knowledge and expertise toward resolving reoccurring billing issues. Maximize collection effectiveness from all customers in a timely and professional manner. Maintain efficient records of collection activities. Manage customer escalations and negotiate settlement plans as required. Drive debt collection, involve in customer interactions (customer visits as deemed necessary). Coordinate resolution of sales and customs disputes according to escalation procedures. Identify bank check and electric bank transfer allocation issues and coordinate rectification with responsible team. Contribute knowledge and expertise toward resolving reoccurring billing issues. Monitor credit accounts and report delinquent customers to Team Leader for review and action. Monitor credit limit of accounts and ensure proper action is taken. Coordinate master data, billing and collection issue resolution with internal and external customers as deemed necessary and in coordination with team leader and supervisor. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor degree in related areas Advanced English Level. Previous Collection experience is preferred. Advanced MS office knowledge. Proficient in Excel (intermediate level) Good telephone conversation/handling skills. Effective communication and conversational skills. High customer focus and service orientation.
