WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? Support the site HSE Manager and wider HSE team. Collaborating and getting buy-in from all levels when producing or amending all site H&S documentation, legislations and responsibilities. Understand all operational processes in order to support the wider site team in adequately assessing risk and for the purposes of producing the relevant documentation. Support the operational team in the event of any H&S incident to ensure that all correct processes and paperwork are produced and logged. Ability to create H&S improvement plans and work to targets Provide day to day Safety, Health and Environmental assistance and advice to enable the site to comply with relevant statutory legislation Assist with the development, implementation and communication of all relevant HSE policies at the siteMeet annual Safety, Health and Environmental objectives. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Previous experience within a HSE role or having taken up HSE responsibilities. Familiarity of working within a warehouse environment would be beneficial. Strong communication skills - verbal and written. Able to build relationships with internal/external work forces. Exposure to HSE systems (such as Logics) would be desirable. Ability to deliver training in an enthusiastic manner Capable of addressing individuals who are not following H&S procedures.
