We are the captive Shared Service Provider for DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Freight (DGFF). Our colleagues are based across six service delivery centers in Mumbai, Chennai, Chengdu, Manila, Bogota & Budapest. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide top-notch service within the Industrial Project (IP) Service line, supporting our DGFF regions and countries globally. The role involves training to proficiently execute various activities, including shipment creation and enrichment, document upload, CONSOL enrichment, transport booking, sending shipping instructions, security filing, verifying draft MBL (Master Bill of Lading), tracking and updating milestones, handling inbound consols, managing carrier release milestones, notifying customers/brokers, preparing sailing schedules and gateway consols, sending discharge note documents, offering agent solution support, and validating routing for detention and demurrage storage. Key Responsibilities: Ensures compliance and reports any deviations detected Maintains a strong and effective relationship with key Business Partners Identify risk in the services and come up with solutions or ideas to mitigate the risk involved Be informed of industry practices and how it will impact organization and ensure risks are covered Monitor effectiveness of compliance and report out violations to Senior Leadership periodically Tasks: Perform audit as per the procedures with due diligence Prepares the Summary report for control effectiveness at country level Brief findings and its business impact with global and other stake holders Coordination of external auditors Explore opportunities to automate the audit function wherever possible People – Management (If Applicable) Provides feedback and coaching their direct reportees and set yearly departmental goals and sets performance targets for the function Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility with cost consciousness. Develop team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team Identify training needs and opportunities to Develop a highly skilled functional department. Required Skills/Abilities: Audit Experience Project management skills Strong coaching and people development skills Effective problem evaluation and solution University degree in Finance or equivalent plus around 5 years of experience in Audit field, preferably a Chartered Accountant in India or equivalent qualification Knowledge of IFRS, accounting standards, statutory, regulatory and legal requirements High degree of conceptual and analytical skills Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), fluent in English Competency segment ‘Business’ Customer Orientation : Is focused on identifying and understanding each customer’s needs.
