The Financial Accountant manages all transactional and financial accounting, corporate reporting, and ensures compliance with company and statutory laws and timelines for Hilton entities in Singapore and South East Asia. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Your role is important, and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique. Transactional Accounting Accounts Payable (Third Party Suppliers, Intercompany transactions) Team Member Business Expense Reimbursement __ Accounts Receivable (including local and international billing), AR report, and support General Ledger posting and reports. Bank reconciliations, Cash flow statements, and projections Balance Sheet Reconciliations Any other accounting (#AP, #AR, #GL, or fixed assets-related task) as may be required Reporting Month-End Reporting (Close process, Supporting Schedules) Monthly / Quarterly / Annual Group Reporting requirements Support for the budgeting and forecasting process Provide transactional information to support business analysis and decision-making. Assist Government Reports & Surveys as needed. __ Miscellaneous reporting requests as may be needed. Local Statutory Filings and Compliance Assistance on Statutory Audits. Compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and Hilton Policies & Procedures. Handle routine tax returns such as GST, withholding tax, etc. Assistance for filing corporate tax returns. Assistance in any other statutory compliance-related task.   In addition to performing the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time spent on each function determined solely by the supervisor based on the company's particular requirements. __ Keep up to date on all financial systems. Collaborate with corporate finance to coordinate accounting updates across various platforms. Attend corporate and operations finance meetings as required. Assist in special projects as required. Assist the finance team and central finance with financial issues and irregularities. Recommend and assist in implementing appropriate corrective actions. All other job duties as assigned.
