For more information visit our website at www.juliusbaer.com YOUR CHALLENGE As Corporate Communications Lead, Greater China, you will develop and deliver a high-impact communications strategy that supports the Bank’s strategic objectives, with a particular focus on Greater China. Working closely with the Market Head Greater China Hong Kong and senior leaders based in Hong Kong and Singapore, you will provide trusted communications counsel and execution. You will lead all aspects of corporate communications across Greater China and collaborate closely with the regional team on communications initiatives across Asia, including media relations, issues and reputation management, internal and executive communications, social media, award submissions, and speaking engagements. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders to promote the Bank’s expertise, capabilities and culture in a consistent and compelling way. YOUR PROFILE University degree in Journalism, Communications or a related discipline. At least 10 years’ experience in financial and corporate communications, gained within financial services and/or public relations agencies in Asia Pacific or Hong Kong. Private banking experience is essential. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, including Mandarin and Cantonese. Highly self-motivated professional with a proven ability to operate independently as a sole contributor in Hong Kong, managing multiple priorities with sound judgement and end-to-end ownership in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork with colleagues based in Asia, as well as global colleagues is essential. Strong experience working with senior leaders and managing complex stakeholder relationships. Established media relationships, with a solid understanding of the media landscape in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Demonstrated experience in issues and reputation management, providing proactive counsel and rapid response to emerging risks. Hands-on experience managing social media platforms, particularly WeChat, as well as online editorial and video content. Proven capability to deliver effective internal communications across leadership memos, townhalls, staff newsletters and intranet platforms. Experience managing awards programmes, including APB and Euromoney, and coordinating industry speaking engagements. Ability to manage external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality, timely and cost-effective communications delivery. Experience overseeing local Business Continuity Management communications to support effective incident and crisis response.
