Position: Accounting Analyst (Bookkeeper) Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST) Full-Time, Remote Work. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough bookkeeping activities, including maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively. Support the automation of accounting processes to streamline data management and reporting. Monitor cash flow trends to ensure liquidity and proper cash management practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and enhance financial reporting practices. Provide support during the annual audit process by preparing required documentation and financial records. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 2-4 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting analysis roles. (Healthcare Bookkeeping preferred) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and financial analysis tools. Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information. A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
