Responsibilities Facilitate the intake process for patients by gathering and verifying essential personal, medical, and insurance information. Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in-person interactions, addressing any inquiries or concerns from patients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the patient database, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Coordinate with healthcare providers and support staff to optimize patient care and workflow. Educate patients regarding procedures, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling. Assist in identifying discrepancies or issues in the intake process and propose improvements accordingly. Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in patient intake or administrative roles. Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare protocols. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse patient populations. Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining patient confidentiality and data integrity. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
