As a Cost Controller in Zakynthos, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our operational costs, ensuring that our services align with the highest standards of luxury and efficiency. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for hospitality and a drive to support profitability through effective cost management practices. Overview Responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling expenses across the hotel operations, with a strong emphasis on food and beverage costs. Manage and verify all purchasing activity related to food and beverage, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. Perform regular inventory checks and reconciliations to maintain optimal stock levels. Prepare detailed financial reports and cost analyses for management review. Collaborate with department heads to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. Oversee compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to cost control. Assist in the development and management of annual budgets and forecasts. Communicate effectively with all departments to promote a culture of efficiency and accountability. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in cost control or financial analysis within the hospitality sector. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
