SWOT Hospitality is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and passionate Sous Chef at the stunning Omeon Mykonos . This is a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant kitchen in one of the most sought-after destinations, delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests. ROLE OVERVIEW As a Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high culinary standards are maintained, and fostering a creative environment for staff. Your role will include overseeing food preparation, cooking processes, and presentation while maintaining a focus on exceptional quality and consistency across all dishes. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing kitchen staff, and training them in culinary techniques and presentation standards. Assisting in menu development and planning, with an emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen while adhering to health and safety standards. Monitoring stock levels and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure the best use of resources. Managing food costs and assisting with budgeting to maintain profitability. Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a luxury hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with a passion for Mediterranean cuisine. Excellent leadership and communication abilities. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse team.
