What you will work on The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with advanced modeling techniques, data processing on Databricks and practical application of data science to drive commercial success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that directly impact business performance. Key Responsibilities Develop and deploy advanced machine learning models to address business challenges Utilize Databricks for data processing, model training, and deployment in a cloud environment. Create and manage data pipelines using Python and SQL to integrate, clean, and process large datasets efficiently. Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights and identify key trends impacting business performance. Design and implement predictive and prescriptive models to optimize commercial strategies. Automate model performance tracking and implement feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement. Collaborate with business stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Product) to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights. Create clear and insightful data visualizations and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Stay up-to-date with the latest data science techniques, libraries, and frameworks to improve model accuracy and efficiency. What you bring 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist (with prior experience in a data role), focusing on commercial and business applications. Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models in Databricks. Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation. Strong proficiency in Python and its libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn). Familiarity with advanced modeling techniques, including: Predictive Modeling Clustering Time Series Forecasting Advanced Feature Engineering Experience with cloud-based data environments (preferably Azure). Proficiency with data analysis and ETL on Databricks. Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Understanding of data warehousing concepts and working with large, complex datasets. Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Proactive, collaborative, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
