What We are looking for As an Accounting Manager at Novibet , you will be responsible for efficiently managing daily accounting tasks in strict adherence to company policies and procedures, under the guidance of the Head of Accounting. What you will work on Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Review and approve journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Liaise with external auditors and ensure smooth year-end and interim audits Present financial information clearly and concisely to internal stakeholders, including management and directors, as well as external stakeholders, regulators, and shareholders. Mentor, coach, and develop the accounting team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Drive automation and process improvements in the financial reporting cycle Stay updated on IFRS standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in financial management processes.    What you bring BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; MSc degree will be considered as a plus 10+ years of combined Accounting & Finance professional experience, out of which 2+ years in a managerial role, preferable in a multinational Corporation ACCA, ACA, CFA certification will be considered a plus Fluency in English & Greek (oral and written) Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent organizing and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet the deadlines Possess a can-do attitude and be a team player with team management skills What we offer We truly value our people at Novibet !
