Based in Brisbane, we are seeking a Senior HR Advisor to play a key role in supporting and strengthening our HR Team across Australia. The Senior HR Advisor will serve as a trusted HR partner to the operations team, providing hands-on, strategic, and compliant HR support across the country. This role requires a strong generalist background with proven experience in industrial relations, compliance, and stakeholder engagement within an international or project-based environment. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Regional HR Solutions Lead, act as a strategic advisor to site leadership and management teams across Australia. Provide guidance on industrial relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations, and performance management. Partner with managers to drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives. Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, statutory requirements, and employment regulations Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional employment legislation and advise leadership on risk mitigation. Support audits (internal and external), ensuring accurate HR records and documentation. Ensure EnerMech policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are consistently applied across the region. Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience. Advise on compensation, benefits, and market benchmarking in alignment with company frameworks. Support annual performance review cycles and talent development processes. Coach managers on effective performance management and development planning. Identify training needs and coordinate learning initiatives where required. Ensure accurate employee data management within HR systems. Support payroll and benefits administration in partnership with regional and global HR teams. Prepare HR reports and metrics to support business decisions. Travel regularly across the country to provide on-site HR support and maintain strong relationships with local teams. Act as a consistent HR presence, ensuring alignment and continuity. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 7–10 years of progressive HR generalist experience, preferably in oil & gas, energy, or engineering sectors. Strong working knowledge of local labor laws Proven experience handling complex employee relations and compliance matters. Experience supporting multi-site or regional operations.
