Egypt Education Platform is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Secondary Stage (HOS) for immediate hire at one of its prestigious institutions. This leadership role is crucial in fostering a productive and inclusive learning environment while implementing a strategic vision for the secondary stage that aligns with the school's overall mission. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Secondary Stage, ensuring a high standard of education and operational effectiveness. Develop, implement, and monitor effective teaching and learning strategies aligned with the curriculum to enhance student outcomes. Foster a culture of professional development and collaboration among teachers, providing mentorship and support to enhance instructional practices. Oversee student progress, assessment, and achievement, using data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement. Ensure the wellbeing and safeguarding of all students, creating a safe and supportive learning environment. Work closely with parents, teachers, and the wider school community to promote student success and engagement. Collaborate with school leadership to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and policies. Manage resources and budgets effectively to support the secondary stage's educational objectives. Stay abreast of current trends and innovative practices in secondary education, integrating them into the school's practices. Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within secondary education. Strong knowledge of the secondary education curriculum and assessment procedures. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team of teachers. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that promotes student well-being and achievement. Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships within the school community.
