We are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient Specialist, Marketing Tech, Regional to join our team of 3-4. While the title is "Marketing Tech," this isn't a typical SaaS or app marketing role. For us, it means being the strategic engine that designs and manages the technical backbone for our core B2B logistics services. Your mission is to identify intent signals by leading the integration of our Marketing Tools (CRM, automation, and AI Agents) and optimising our end-to-end workflows. It's all about ensuring data integrity, automating lead scoring to detect high-value accounts, and creating the sophisticated digital systems required to shorten the sales cycle. You will fit perfectly if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are creative, analytical, organised, and have a sharp eye for detail. We're looking for a natural self-starter with a structured and clear way of communicating. A DAY IN A LIFE As a start-up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to: Manage and Develop Integrated Workflows & Tool Utilisation: Spearhead the creation of effective, end-to-end integrated workflows, leveraging AI Agents and the existing Marketing Tools stack (CRM, automation platforms) to connect Marketing CRM, Sales CRM, and the customer database, with a focus on supporting demand generation activities. Automation of Demand Generation Processes: Automating key demand generation processes, such as intent signal capture, lead scoring, and segmentation, leveraging AI agents and machine learning capabilities where applicable. CRM Strategy Analysis: Analyse customer data to refine CRM strategies. Marketing Technologies Integration & Management: Collaborate on integrating and managing the full Marketing Tools stack and automation tools, ensuring they align with and bolster demand generation efforts. Close Collaboration with Marketing Team: Work in tandem with the marketing team, including Content Marketing, Brand, PR & Communications, to ensure integrated marketing efforts and smooth lead transition. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Engage with external departments such as regional and local market stakeholders, Operations, and the Product team to align business strategies. CRM and Marketing Automation Expertise: Proficiency in Marketing CRM platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Common Room, Mailchimp, GetResponse, ActiveCampaign) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier, Google App Scripts, Marketing API) Technical and Data Analysis Skills: Strong skills in these areas to effectively manage CRM systems and interpret data for demand generation. Content Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of content marketing and distribution channels Adaptability and Timeliness: Ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changes in demand generation trends and strategies. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and strategy communication. Detail-Oriented and Independent: Meticulous and self-driven with the ability to work independently, essential for managing CRM and automation tasks in support of demand generation. Critical and Analytical Thinking: Necessary for developing and optimising CRM strategies that support demand generation objectives. These are skills that are ‘nice-to-have’ and will make you stand out in the job application: B2B Marketing Experience: Valuable in understanding the nuances of demand generation in a B2B context. ABM Strategy Proficiency: Proficiency in Account-based Marketing strategies and execution, valuable for targeted demand generation. User Journey Mapping: Background in mapping user journeys, enhancing CRM strategies for demand generation. Web Development and Digital Tech Familiarity: Familiarity with these areas to integrate and optimise digital tools for demand generation. Innovative Marketing Strategies: Demonstrated ability to apply innovative approaches to marketing strategy, enhancing demand generation.
