NeoWork is looking for a Senior Back-end Engineer  with strong technical fundamentals and a passion for building reliable, well-tested systems. In this role, you’ll be working on  tool-use functionality , including analyzing transcripts, debugging issues, and ensuring systems are robust and reliable. You’ll collaborate with contract engineers and internal stakeholders, helping drive technical quality across projects. Key Responsibilities Analyze tool-use transcripts to identify where models fail or tools break. Debug and confirm functionality by directly interacting with an  MCP server . Write clear and detailed  technical documentation  for processes and findings. Build and maintain  robust test suites  to ensure high-quality code changes. Collaborate with other engineers and contract contributors to support technical QA and debugging. 3+ years of software engineering experience (open to strong candidates with less). Familiarity with  Go, Python, TypeScript , or similar modern back-end stacks. Strong background in building and maintaining test frameworks. Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation. Analytical and proactive problem-solver who can spot issues from data and propose solutions.
