We are seeking a dedicated dental assistant to join our fast-paced team. This role plays a vital part in patient safety, comfort, and surgery recovery while also supporting surgical and clinical operations. Our Dental Assistants support the surgeon by ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. They are responsible for performing clinical and technical procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed Oral Surgeon. Please note: This is a temporary, full-time engagement scheduled to start April 1, 2026, and runs through August 14, 2026. A Few Job Duties & Responsibilities: ● Prepare and set up surgical rooms prior to procedures ● Perform room turnover between patients in compliance with OSHA and infection control standards ● Maintain sterilization processes and ensure clinical supply stocking ● Assist the surgeon during oral surgery procedures ● Provide post operative recovery monitoring and patient care ● Obtain radiographs as needed ● Assist in clinical consultations, gather thorough medical histories, and review referring doctor notes ● Accurately document patient notes and maintain detailed clinical records ● Ensure readiness for procedures Qualifications ● Arkansas Registered Dental Assistant ● Current CPR certification – required Preferred (Not Required): ● Prior Oral Surgery Experience or 1+ years of Dental Assisting ● ACLS ● PALS Ideal Candidate: The right fit for our team is dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and demonstrates a high level of compassion for patients during every stage of care. This role will require 32 - 40 hours per week.
