Detailed reviews of client records (e.g., accounting documents, procedures, etc.) to identify areas of potential unclaimed property noncompliance. Interviews of client accounting and operational personnel. Identification of client’s potential unclaimed property exposure: Development of strategic plans to limit client’s potential exposure, Presentation of suggestions to clients to reduce potential exposure, Creation of models to calculate potential exposure. Assistance with the management of clients’ state unclaimed property audits and voluntary disclosure agreements. Support for drafting technical written memorandums. Interaction with clients, outside legal counsel, and state unclaimed property representatives. Preparation and filing of annual unclaimed property reports to multiple jurisdictions. Successful candidates will have:  Bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting or law, or a related degree in business Outstanding academic performance required, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above Relevant internship, work experience and/or involvement with a professional organization  The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Unclaimed Property experience is NOT required There is currently no immigration sponsorship available for this position The compensation range for this role is $63,200 to $119,820. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
