Our Company Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.  We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!   The Challenge Adobe established a Global Payments function in 2020, building teams across four key areas: 1. Partnership Management 2. Payments Strategy 3. Risk Decisioning 4. Payment Operations Each team is centralized in the United States with a global remit. To enhance the strategic potential of our Payments business, Adobe is seeking an experienced regional leader to complement these central teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in LATAM payment processing, particularly in card-not-present and subscription payment models, along with strategies to optimize payment approval rates. In this role, you will partner directly with the heads of central payment functions and the LATAM regional sales team, while collaborating with Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Product teams. Externally, you will engage with processors, acquirers, issuers, and alternative payment providers to deliver a “best-in-class” payments experience. This position requires big-picture thinking, prioritization of high-value opportunities, and innovative problem-solving to drive critical metrics focused on increasing Annual Recurring Revenue. Responsibilities Build and strengthen Adobe’s relationships with LATAM payment processors and major card networks (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Carte Bancaires). Develop strategic partnerships with alternative payment providers to enhance regional and country-specific customer experiences. Establish relationships with top issuing banks in key LATAM markets, educate them on Adobe products, collaborate on payment optimization strategies, and complete co-marketing initiatives to drive demand. Serve as the primary liaison between Adobe’s Payments organization and the LATAM sales team, ensuring alignment on strategies impacting payment approvals and declines. Influence prioritization of payment initiatives on internal and partner roadmaps. Own trade-offs related to build time, feature functionality, and revenue return on investment. Post-launch, lead A/B testing, target measurement, and continuous improvement. Create reporting and insights to track LATAM payment success trends and strategies driving revenue growth. Stay ahead of LATAM payment industry trends and regulatory changes, identifying new opportunities and building business use cases for prioritization. Foster a collaborative team culture focused on cross-functional alignment and data-driven decision-making. Requirements 15+ years of payments experience, ideally in merchant processing—either with a payment processor, acquiring bank, or managing global e-commerce payments on the merchant side. Experience with issuing banks or global networks is a plus. Proven ability to lead through influence and get results across LATAM Sales, Product, Treasury, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. Deep understanding of the LATAM digital payment ecosystem, including trends, regulatory changes, and challenges in card-not-present recurring payments. Highly self-motivated with the ability to deliver results independently. Strong communication skills to simplify complex payment concepts and confidently engage senior leaders at banks, networks, and processors. Ability to build accurate financial models and business usecases that support fast, fact-based decision-making. BA/BS or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred.
