What you’ll do: Design and develop distributed, scalable, highly available services Be involved in all the product development and delivery stages, as part as an agile engineering team working on new products Transform the business requirements into feature specifications Research on various technologies useful for the project and keep in touch with the evolution of the industry Improve your technical and team working skills Perform on-call activities, on rotation with the rest of the team Contribute to and promote good software engineering practices across the team What you need to succeed : Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent) and 10+ years of backend software engineering experience. Very good knowledge in Java technologies and frameworks (J2SE & J2EE) and Java web applications servers Experience in working with infrastructure, i.e. cloud providers, containers, orchestrators, VM/Bare metal deployments, is a plus. Experience with observability, i.e. monitoring, logging, tracing, etc. Have experience with crafting and developing scalable and distributed applications. Hands-on experience in using AI tools for practical applications to improve productivity and efficiency across diverse work environments. Experience with Big Data technologies, i.e. Hadoop/HBase/MapReduce, Kafka; operational experience with these it’s a plus. Scala and Spark knowledge is a plus.
