We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Travel and Expense (T&E) Senior Manager to lead and continuously improve our AP and T&E operations. This is a senior manager–level role responsible for overseeing end-to-end payables and employee expense processes, managing a team, and partnering closely with Accounting, Finance, IT and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal controls. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys building scalable processes, mentoring talent, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for a confident, calm leader who brings structure without unnecessary bureaucracy, someone who can zoom out strategically but isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.   What you will be doing Lead, develop, and mentor the Accounts Payable and Travel and Expense team, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement Oversee end-to-end AP processes, invoice intake, coding, approvals, payment execution, vendor maintenance, and reconciliations Own T&E reporting and reimbursement processes, including policy compliance and audit readiness Evaluate, design, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability Partner with Finance Systems / IT on AP and expense system enhancements, implementations, and integrations Leverage automation and best practices to reduce manual work and cycle times Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax and regulatory requirements Maintain and document controls to support SOX and internal/external audit requirements Partner with Internal Audit and external auditors on walkthroughs, testing, and remediation Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis ​ What you bring Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 8+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable and/or expense management 3+ years of people management experience at a manager or senior manager level Strong knowledge of AP processes, internal controls, and accounting principles Ability to lead change and improve processes in a complex environment Nice to have Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience working with ERP and expense management systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, Concur, etc.) Experience in a SOX-controlled or publicly traded environment ​     Employee Benefits & Well-Being Genworth employees make a difference in people’s lives every day.
