F-22 Design & DADT Engineering Manager Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity within our F-22 Raptor Program.  Our team is seeking an experienced leader to join the St. Louis, MO, location.  This position is for a first line manager with direct reports performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering. As an Engineering First Line Leader, the candidate will lead engineers working closely with the United States Air Force and industry partners to sustain and modernize the F-22 Raptor to ensure fleet readiness and continued air dominance. Responsibilities: Leads and provides oversight to employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of DADT analysis and structural design. Effectively plans and executes statement of work (cost, schedule, technical, & safety). Establish, track, and automate value added metrics that help to effectively manage the business. Identify, develop, implement, & champion initiatives to shape/modernize our business. Establishes, develops, & maintains partnerships with team, customers, stakeholders, peers, & partners. Effectively communicates with team, Leadership, and stakeholders. Mentor, motivate, and provide growth and development opportunities for team. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) 5+ years of experience in an engineering related role 1+ years of experience working with Mechanical or Structures related statements of work. 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Masters Degree in Engineering 1+ years of engineering leadership experience (in lead or manager role) working on advanced fighter aircraft Experience training and/or mentoring in a technical environment Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.  General All information provided will be checked and may be verified.
