You independently operate and maintain at least one process or equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs. How you will contribute You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. You will operate and maintain equipment to meet our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will execute all standard work processes using AM and PM (progressive maintenance standards). In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will take an active role in shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination. You will bring experience and knowledge in: Machine operations, TPM-Total Productive Maintenance Tools Safety and quality standards for operating machinery Reading and writing and fluently conversant in the language of communication as appropriate to the site Collaborating well in a diverse work environment Understanding of total productive maintenance tools and methodologies a distinct advantage More about this role Operates the bagging equipment required to package product that has been individually cut and wrapped . Performs running adjustments to equipment to ensure optimum efficiency and output . Works closely with Packers to ensure product meets quality requirements . Checks and verifies code dates, packaging material quality, quality of cut and wrapped product being bagged . Engages in machine startup and shutdown tasks . Performs quality /safety checks . Conducts both major cleaning, changeover cleaning, end of shift cleaning and continuous clean ing of the area surrounding the workstation . Escalate any issues to Team Leader. Follow all safety and GMP standards. Any and all other tasks assigned by Team Leader. The expected annualized salary range for this position is $45,128.00 to $68,630.00 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 5 % with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results, and potential shift premiums and / or overtime.
