Your Impact As a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) in North Charleston, South Carolina, you will lead frontline manufacturing leaders and teams responsible for delivering the 787 Dreamliner—one of the most technologically advanced aircraft ever built. You will serve as a cornerstone leader, translating strategic production goals into disciplined execution on the factory floor—while building a culture grounded in safety, quality, accountability, and pride. You will: Lead, manage and inspire manufacturing teams responsible for building the world’s most advanced commercial aircraft Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance Build and develop exceptional leaders, strengthening Boeing’s leadership pipeline for the future Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Leadership to achieve production milestones Champion continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and operational innovation Help position Boeing South Carolina for increased production rates and long-term growth This role offers unmatched visibility, responsibility, and influence—and the opportunity to leave a lasting leadership legacy. This is an opportunity to: Lead at global scale Build world-class manufacturing teams Influence one of Boeing’s most critical programs Accelerate your leadership career Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of aerospace, manufacturing, or equivalent military experience 3+ years of experience managing teams 3+ years of experience leading, motivating and developing others Demonstrated ability to lead across organizations and influence outcomes Decision-making capability in complex, dynamic environments Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience, ideally in Final Assembly, Structures, Interiors, or Flight Test 3+ years of proven success leading Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Experience leading through production ramp-ups, operational transformation, or growth environments Track record of building high-engagement, high-performance teams Bachelor's degree or higher A&P Certification Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
