Mid-Career Electrical Wire Design & Install Engineer Company: BBST - Brazil Boeing Brazil is seeking Mid-Career Electrical Wire Design & Install Engineer , reporting to the Electrical Design Engineering Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos office. The Mid-Career Electrical Wire Design & Install Engineer will work with the Boeing Commercial Aircraft engineering global team to support the certification of large aircraft and to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and customer requirements and procedures defined in the company’s Design Organization Handbook (DOH). Position Responsibilities: •    Analyzes functional and physical input to ensure the development of complete integrated cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. •    Develops and maintains Schematics and Functional Diagrams, cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs for new product development and legacy programs. •    Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.. •    Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical products. •    Capture and define requirements for electrical software tools. This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.   Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience): Must have existing rights to work in Brazil. Must have a degree in Engineering. ​ Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language. Experience with design engineering. Experience with Electrical CAD Tools. Experience working with cross functional teams. Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills / Experience): Electrical engineering, computer science, automation, or software engineering. Experience within Electrical Systems hardware and software design. Experience with FAA regulatory and airworthiness requirements including FAR-25 requirements. Experience with system design and integration during an airplane development program. Experience with project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environment. Understanding of separation requirements regarding EMC, Redundancy and survivability. Understanding of industry standards such as AS50881 or equivalents.
