Manufacturing Manager Company: Aerospace Composite Center, LLC Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager (level K) to support the Aerospace Composites Center (ACC) in Hazelwood, MO!  The Aerospace Composites Center has state-of-the-art enabled capabilities and operates to support Boeing’s Fighter Programs.   Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing areas Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Oversight and Ownership to Zero injury and First Time Quality culture Manage, inspire, develop and motivate employees Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment 3+ years of experience driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation, and people on production and development programs Leadership experience in a formal or informal capacity Candidate must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and overtime support program objectives Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s Degree or higher in relevant field Lean Six Sigma experience Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies .  Shift: This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives Total Rewards: At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.  Elements of the Total Rewards package include competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.   The Boeing Company also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.   The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
