Mid-Career Electrical Power Systems Engineer Company: BBST - Brazil Boeing Brazil is seeking  Mid-Career Electrical Power Systems Engineer , reporting to the Electrical Power Systems team Manager, working out of the São José Dos Campos office. The Mid-Career Electrical Power Systems Engineer will work with the Global Electrical Power Systems engineering team to support the integration, development and certification of transport category airplanes. Review documentation and generate artifacts to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and customer requirements, related to power generation and distribution functions, exterior lighting, and proximity sensing. Position Responsibilities: Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware designs and interface specifications. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs. This position will require occasional national and/or international travel.   This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future   Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.   Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):   Must have existing rights to work in Brazil. Must have a degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or Systems Engineering. Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). Experience with Electrical Engineering. Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language. Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience): Experience with Product Development life cycle and applicable regulations. Knowledge in Safety Assessment standards. Some experience with supplier environmental qualification standards. Familiar with Agile methodology. Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.   Additional Information: This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
