Intern Software Engineer Company: Boeing Poland sp. z o.o. EFS An exciting opportunity has become available to join Boeing Poland as   an   Intern Software Engineer.     Position   overview:                Boeing Poland Software Engineering develops and produces avionics and electronics systems designed for use on   aircraft   and other platforms for purposes such as navigation, flight controls, information systems, and other core avionics functions. We have set our sights high – to design, develop, and manufacture the most technically advanced and reliable avionic components in the world. We are innovating and developing new products to address the future of the urban air mobility as well as our next generation of commercial, tactical, and trainer   aircraft   markets.   As an   Intern Software Engineer ,   you will join the Boeing Poland Software Engineering team consisting of highly skilled, high performing engineering team members   supporting multiple projects   across Software Engineering organization.     We’re   planning to hire interns for the following paths:   C/ C++   Java /Python   MBD     Hiring details:    Candidates can work from our office in   Gda ń sk   or Rzeszów   This is   a   part time position     Position   Responsibilities :   Utilizing modern programming techniques, tools,   languages   and agile software development methodologies to build software for delivered Boeing systems   Performing engineering activities including architecture design, software development,   integration   and testing   Proactively contributing to project execution plan to set and effectively achieve operational goals   Influencing,   innovating   and continuously improving the software engineering process as well as quality, safety and reliability of products and services provided by Boeing   Cultivating a positive staff culture, team motivation     Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):   3+ months of professional experience/ documented students projects   Student status   English   proficiency   Commitment   to   working   minimum   20   hours   a   week         Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):   Familiarity with airborne software certification and tools qualification processes and standards   Design and systems thinking skills   a s well as:   C/C++ path:   - Experience in   C or   C++     - Experience in   containerization   - Familiarity with software development cycle such as version control, testing methodologies, agile   development   and CI/CD.       Java/Python   path:   ​- Experience in Java   or Python   - Experience in containerization   - Experience in database development (PostgreSQL)   - Experience in developing web services (REST, SOAP, etc.)   - Familiarity with software development cycle such as version control, testing methodologies, agile   development   and CI/CD.     MBD path:   - Familiarity with Model Based Design, preferably in MATLAB and Simulink suite   - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python   - Elementary knowledge of building models, simulating systems, analyzing simulation results, and code generation in MBD approach.   - Familiarity with software development cycle such as version control, testing methodologies, agile   development   and CI/CD.     Join us if you want to:   Have   flexible   working   hours   Broaden your experience in international avionics projects, technical workshops, and hackathons   Develop professional skills with our virtual learning tools and platforms (Degreed, Enterprise Mentoring, Communities of Excellence & Practice)   Enjoy and create with us friendly and inclusive atmosphere in workplace   Cooperate and exchange knowledge with international team where we support and respect each other       Language Requirements: Not Applicable Education: Not Applicable Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
