MediCard  is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy: The IT Financial Management & FinOps Manager plays a strategic leadership role in overseeing the financial governance, planning, and optimization of IT investments, with a strong emphasis on cloud financial operations (FinOps). This role partners closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Business Units to drive financial transparency, cost efficiency, and value realization across the IT landscape. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Strategic IT Financial Planning & Analysis • Lead the development and execution of IT financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts. Oversee financial performance tracking across IT portfolios, projects, and services. • Provide executive-level insights and recommendations through cost-benefit and ROI analyses. 2. FinOps Leadership & Cloud Cost Optimization • Champion FinOps practices across the organization to ensure cloud cost accountability and efficiency. • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to optimize cloud resource utilization. • Establish governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms for cloud spend management. 3.Cost Allocation & Financial Governance • Design and implement cost allocation models aligned with business and IT service delivery. • Ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting for IT services and cloud resources. • Promote financial transparency and accountability across departments. 4. Vendor Financial Oversight & Contract Management • Lead financial evaluations and negotiations for IT vendor contracts and renewals. • Monitor vendor spend against contractual terms and strategic budgets. • Partner with Procurement and Legal teams to ensure financially sound sourcing decisions. 5. Performance Monitoring & Executive Reporting • Develop and maintain executive dashboards and KPIs for IT financial performance. • Present financial insights and trends to senior leadership and governance bodies. • Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements related to IT financials. 6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement • Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts and FinOps specialists. • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between IT, Finance, and Business Units. • Lead workshops, reviews, and strategic planning sessions with internal and external stakeholders. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). • 5+ years of experience in IT financial management, FinOps, or related leadership roles. • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and FinOps frameworks. • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and storytelling skills using Excel and PowerPoint. • Familiarity with financial tools (e.g., Apptio, CloudHealth, or similar platforms). • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • FinOps certification or equivalent training is a strong advantage.
