About the Role The position is responsible for the following aspects within the Investment Data Governance team of Group Investment: • To work as a team with other teams within and across the Departments in delivering a robust Data Quality monitoring dashboard for Department, Group and Business Units consumption. • To ascertain the accuracy of the computed Data Quality score, to be inline with the intention and purpose of the monitoring. • To provide sufficient guidance and support to the team in the area of budgeting, Statement of Work and Procurement of Services. Conduct and participate in session with relevant business units and/or system owners with the purpose to deliver the assigned responsibilities in effective and efficient manner. Perform analysis on the nature of the data for Data Quality monitoring usage, understand the linkages between the dataset, in the manner that is relevant and applicable in monitoring the data quality of the selected Critical Data Elements (CDEs) Perform a review on the implemented CDEs, in ensuring the already computed Data Quality scores are accurate according to the established methodology and in accordance to Group Data Governance requirements Play the role as the project manager for any initiatives to be carried out by the department, ensure the initiative are carried out within the timeline and within the allocated budget. Perform a check to ascertain implemented and going-to-be-implemented Critical Data Elements are in line with the direction and objectives set by the department and/or Company, which include consistent with published document within Company intranet. Ensure list of data quality concerns are up-to-date with relevant resolution in place addressing the concerns in effective and efficient manner. Perform analysis and prepare reports in regard to Data Quality issue noted and/or concerns noted in the area of Budgeting, Statement of Work and Procurement of Services. The reports prepared need to have element and the concept of risk management. Work with the teams within the department and across departments in ensuring there is a continuous improvement on the dashboard design and delivery of data preparation. Co-ordinate the implementation and rollout of dashboard to all business units and/or to any identified segment of users as directed by the department and/or Group Provide guidance and supervision of team member who has the responsibility in budgeting, statement of work and procurement of services. Assist the Head of Investment Data Governance and Planning on projects and initiatives from time to time as required. Job Requirements : 7-10 years of related experience from insurance and/or asset management, in change, projects or communications Good command of written and spoken English. Be able to converse in Chinese will be an added advantage. Creative and open to sharing and implementing new ideas Good communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization Independent and strong self-initiative. Good technical data mining skills using various system languages (e.g. SQL) would be added advantage, minimum good technical skills in using Microsoft Excel.
