The Role Specialized professional in the administration of Mainframe Z/OS environments, with solid experience in managing, configuring, and optimizing critical high-availability systems. Possesses advanced knowledge in Sysplex architecture and in the implementation of automation solutions. Who You Are Required knowledge: GDPS (Geographically Dispersed Parallel Sysplex): Experience in configuring and maintaining GDPS solutions to ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and high availability in distributed environments. Z/Connect: Knowledge in integrating distributed applications with mainframe services through Z/Connect, enabling interoperability between platforms and application modernization. WLM (Workload Manager): Expertise in defining and tuning WLM policies to optimize workload performance, ensuring SLA compliance and operational efficiency. Sysplex: Experience in administering Sysplex environments, including Coupling Facility configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting in parallel systems. Additional skills: Change and deployment management using SMP/E. Performance monitoring and analysis with tools such as RMF and OMEGAMON. Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate on digital transformation projects. Proactive approach to continuous improvement, process automation, and operational risk reduction.
