We are in search of a  Manager, New Business & Brand Partnerships to be based in  Seoul, South Korea. Role Summary With our music and artists, we have the powerful ability connect Brands with fans and to pop culture by delivering hugely impactful brand marketing campaigns. You will be the company’s key person to develop relationships with key brands and agencies and to create commercial opportunities using our artist roster and assets. This may include anything varied from brand endorsements, sponsorships, and events through to branded contents and digital activations. About this role: Research, identify and pitch to prospective agencies and brands to achieve the department’s revenue target Create innovative commercial propositions and effective response to briefs using UMG’s artist roster, global priorities and assets by cross-collaborating with internal UMG departments such as A&R, International & Domestic Marketing, D2C/Bravado and Insights Team to identify relevant opportunities Prepare business plans and negotiate agreements with brands and agencies Thoroughly plan and manage P/L sheet and project budget, maintaining a profitable margin for all deals Lead the implementation and project management of brand deals and ensure excellent delivery of UMG and Artist obligations, including selecting and managing 3rd party contractors and liaising with artist management and internal stakeholders Understand fast-changing trends in various industries to maximize commercial opportunities Proactively service clients and build successful long-term relationships with key contacts, including providing post-campaign reports Desirable Traits: Bachelor’s degree or higher, with relevant qualifications in Business, Advertising, Marketing or other related fields 6-8 years of strong business development experience and proven ability to deliver commercial results. Ideally you have worked in a client-facing and/or sales role in a creative and/or media agency or branded entertainment environment Has a strong network of brand and agency contacts in the market Good financial understanding including budget management A team player with experience in working cross-functionally to drive brand initiatives from planning to execution Excellent communication, presentation and pitching skills with strong background in deal negotiation Ability to multi-task and solve problems independently Entrepreneurial, creative and innovative. Ability to understand the bigger picture, internal and external context to create out of the box opportunities Passionate about music and pop culture trends Desire and ability to work within an international environment; fluent in English & Korean Interested?
