The Opportunity This position works out of our Arecibo location in the CRM division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.  As the Associate Project Engineer you will be responsible to manage and execute cost improvement, product/process, and technology transfer projects thru the different phases. Will support New Products Introduction (NPI) and Process transfer activities in a regulated manufacturing environment. Will be responsible to generate and execute validation protocols and coordinate work with corresponding functional areas for new or replaced equipment, or process changes. What You’ll Do Generate and execute validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ, TMV, TQF, Process Characterization and Process Validation based on equipment capabilities. Executes cost improvement, product/process, and technology transfer projects. Conduct process equipment installation/operational/performance qualification studies to test their functionality. Support operational qualification assessments that will validate critical operating parameters are within qualified parameters. Support New Products Introduction (NPI) and Process transfer activities in a regulated manufacturing environment. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering. 0-2 years of exposure in Process Validation and Development within the Medical Device Industry or Pharmaceutical Industries. Have background/knowledge in applications and software such as Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Power Point, SolidWorks. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Goo d written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in both English and Spanish. Knowledge in the application and principles of Manufacturing/Process Engineering. Knowledge in Project Management. Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work successfully in cross functional teams. Ability to give and receive constructive feedback. Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
