Your Team & Role As a Specialist, IAM Control & Oversight in the Information Security Office, you will partner with other technology professionals to improve the identity and access security of company and client systems and data. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data and turning such data into clear insights that drive leadership decision-making. You will own end to end analysis for the team from data sourcing and validation, dashboard design, build and maintenance. You will work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of risk and controls. You will effectively communicate difficult concepts and influence others. In addition to advanced technical expertise, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do. Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day • Perform highly complex daily project and operational work, with ownership of the solution/process, per the direction of more senior team members. • Provide guidance to more junior team members. • Utilize expertise in business operations, industry best practice and security systems to recognize new or emerging risks. Develop new capabilities and enhance tools or processes to mitigate those risks strategically. • Continuously collaborate with IT peers and business stakeholders to ensure an appropriate Information Security mindset is in place with our technology and business partners. • Troubleshoot complex problems that junior team members have escalated. The Skills & Expertise You Bring • Bachelor of Computer Science / Engineering, Data Science / Analytics, or experience in related fields • Ability to coach others with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences and perspectives to the benefit of the organization • Experience with agile development methodologies • Knowledge of business concepts and information security tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges • Excellent critical thinking, communication and collaboration skills • Ability to adapt with evolving business decisions and technical improvements or limitations to build structure where necessary Advanced experience and/or expertise with several of the following: • Microsoft PowerBI • Microsoft Fabric • Basic SQL Query • Splunk • NIST and ISO 27000 Standards • Identity Governance and Administration • Privileged Access Management • Data Loss Prevention and Data Security • Compliance Monitoring and Remediation Preferred qualifications: · Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) · Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) · Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) You’ll Love Working Here Because You Can Join a team and culture where your voice matters; where every day, your work transforms our experiences to make lives better. What we offer you: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $89,000.00 to $147,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
