The team values enterprise thinking, strong partnership, analytical rigor, and a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset to build solutions that scale.  The Role   The  Senior HR Specialist – Shared Services   (France/EMEA) - Mobility is a senior individual contributor within the HR Shared Services organization, responsible for ensuring  HR data accuracy, operational quality, and effective employee support governance  across EMEA, supporting an employee population of approximately  500  across  France, the UK, Spain, and Italy .  This role serves as a  regional control point and escalation partner , ensuring HR transactions, employee inquiries, and employee relations matters are handled consistently, compliantly, and in alignment with global standards, local requirements, and defined service levels. The role emphasizes  oversight, triage, data governance, and risk management , rather than primary transaction execution or ownership of complex ER cases.  The Senior Specialist partners closely with  HR Business Partners, Legal, Payroll, HR Technology, and external providers  to reduce operational risk, maintain data integrity, and enable a consistent employee experience across the region.  S&P Global has recently  announced the intent to separate our Mobility Segment into a standalone public company.  For more information, visit www.spglobal.com/mobility .   What’s in It for You   Build from the ground up:  Design and stand up a critical People capability that will shape how Mobility Global operates as a public company.  Real impact:  Drive initiatives that materially affect employees, leaders, and the organization’s ability to scale.  Autonomy with trust:  Operate with meaningful decision-making authority in an environment that values judgment and accountability.  Breadth and influence:  Work across Talent, Culture, Rewards, Shared Services, and HR Strategy.  Growth opportunity:  Be part of a high-visibility journey from spin-off to IPO, helping define future-state operating models.  Responsibilities and Impact HR Shared Services Oversight & Data Governance   Own  regional HR data accuracy and integrity  in the HRIS (e.g., Workday), ensuring employee records reflect accurate, timely, and compliant information.  Provide oversight and quality assurance of HR transactions executed through shared services, payroll, or external vendors.  Act as an escalation point for complex HR operations and data issues, partnering with HR Technology and Payroll to drive resolution and prevent recurrence.  Ensure consistent application of HR policies, SOPs, and service delivery standards across supported countries.  Employee & Manager Support   Serve as a senior point of contact for managers and team members for HR policy, process, and program inquiries.  Triage requests and concerns to determine appropriate resolution paths (self-service, shared services execution, HRBP, Legal).  Provide guidance to people leaders on performance management frameworks and expectations, ensuring alignment with global standards and local requirements.  Employee Relations & Compliance   Monitor and triage employee relations matters across the region, ensuring cases are handled by the appropriate owners and within defined risk thresholds.  Independently handle  low-risk, routine  ER matters when appropriate; partner with HRBPs and Legal on medium- and high-risk issues.  Ensure ER cases are properly documented, tracked, and closed, supporting compliance and trend analysis.  Surface emerging ER themes or risks to HR leadership proactively.  Works Council & Consultation Support   Coordinate operational HR inputs for Works Council consultations, restructurings, and statutory processes in partnership with HRBPs and Legal.  Ensure consultation materials, data, and documentation are accurate, complete, and delivered on agreed timelines.  Track follow-up actions and commitments to support compliance and transparency.  Reporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement   Produce and maintain recurring HR reports (e.g., headcount, data quality metrics, ER trends, service delivery insights).  Analyze trends to identify risks, inconsistencies, or improvement opportunities and partner with relevant teams to drive corrective action.  Contribute to continuous improvement of HR shared services processes, controls, knowledge articles, and documentation.  What Makes You a Strong Fit   Experience & Domain Knowledge   Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.  6+ years  of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or regional HR roles within a multinational environment.  Experience supporting multiple European countries, with working knowledge of employment law and consultation practices relevant to France, Spain, Italy, and the UK.  Demonstrated experience operating within a  shared services HR delivery model .  Fluency in English & French  Technical & Analytical Skills   Advanced experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred), including data validation, reporting, and audit support.  Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to identify data and control gaps.  Comfortable translating HR data into operational insights for HR partners and leader  How You’ll Stand Out   Confident, practical executor who balances autonomy with sound judgment around escalation  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to partner effectively in a matrixed, multicultural environment.  Fluency in English & French required, additional European languages are a strong advantage  Detail-oriented, organized, and resilient – comfortable operating in a fast-moving, compliance -driven environment  About S&P Global Mobility At S&P Global Mobility, we provide invaluable insights derived from unmatched automotive data, enabling our customers to anticipate change and make decisions with conviction.
