About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 Job Description The Team:  Our IT - Application Development team in Poland is dedicated to driving innovation and efficiency across our database solutions. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to modernizing our infrastructure for future growth. Responsibilities and Impact: Perform day-to-day administrative duties on Microsoft SQL Server instances, including backup, restore, and general troubleshooting. Develop and maintain SSIS jobs and write Transact-SQL code for database management and optimization. Conduct performance tuning to enhance database efficiency and responsiveness. Collaborate with software engineers to develop solutions using open-source PostgreSQL or other cost-effective alternatives. Participate in initiatives to modernize infrastructure, reducing reliance on SQL Server by leveraging cloud technologies. What We’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proficiency in SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Familiarity with SSIS and Transact-SQL for data integration and management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Additiona l Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud technologies. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical concepts. Adaptability to rapid change and eagerness to learn new technologies.
