Title: DG BOSS: Bike Mechanic (FN) (Open) Assembles and repairs bicycles, installs replacement parts and accessories and maintains MWR owned bicycles for rent. Maintains a Bicycle Repair Log of assemblage, repairs and maintenance on bicycles received and forwarded or returned to Check-it Out Equipment Rentals. Install a variety of accessories and other related parts to provide proper standards of appearance and safety. Ensure Bicycles are assembled or repaired within 72 hours of receipt. Ensures Bicycle Repair log maintained and available for inspection upon Government’s request. Ensures Repair shop is kept clean and organized. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Must have a wide range of knowledge in the repair and maintenance of bicycles. Must be able to work with less supervision and follow written and oral orders. Ability to determine the operating conditions of bicycle to safety requirements to avoid injury to patrons. Must speak, read, and understand the English Language. I must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health. Preferred Qualifications JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING Must have successfully completed the required training: Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Training from American Red Cross. Customer Service Training: Creating Stellar Customer Relations EDUCATION: Must have at least High school diploma, Technical or Vocational course graduate is required. EXPERIENCE: Must have two (2) years’ experience working in a repair shop.
