Title: Instrument Superintendent KBR is providing Project Management Services encompassing Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phase execution supporting KBR’s client Sonangol’s multi-billion-dollar grass roots Lobito Refinery Project in Angola Africa. KBR is looking for an Instrumentation Superintendent to be responsible for the daily operations for site development on the Sonangol project in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. This role will supervise and provide oversight of the daily project teams by providing input to identify key success factors, daily efforts of the technical and administrative, while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and schedule. ***This position will mobilize to Angola*** ***CV must be written in English to be considered*** Responsibilities: Early site instrumentation establishment and site improvement. Subcontractor oversight, shop drawing review and processing for instrumentation systems. Documentation of contract changes Daily communication with owners, architects, engineer, and other stakeholders Monitor EPC contractors’ instrumentation installation works All required owner and in-house reporting Qualifications: Bachelor degree in construction management, engineering, or related field 5 + years of progressive experience in heavy civil constructions Must have experience working in field construction environment
