Coordinates with operational leadership to ensure alignment and   optimal   use of resources related to continuous improvement.   • Works with site leaders to develop long term facility plans and capacity models.   • Develops and trains continuous improvement methods such as value stream mapping, 5S, line balancing, standard work, and material   flow  to   internal resources within the organization.   • Collaborate with management to hire and   retain   a diverse , highly qualified staff.     • Provides input for identification of department goals which align to strategic   objectives, and   manages the execution of goals through coaching and mentoring.   •   Maintains   a safe and professional work environment.   •   Maintains   positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.   Qualifications:   -   Bachelors   Degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline     - 4+ years experience   - 3-4   years experience   with post graduate degree   Preferred:   - Experience leading   Continous   improvement events     - Experience with problem solving such as A3/DMAIC   - Med Device or regulated industry     - Project management experience   Apply Now   Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:   www.abbottbenefits.com   Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
