The Civil Engineer will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team within the Approving Authority; the primary purpose of the role is to directly support current operations and future programmes. What Do We Need Experience in the design assessment of reinforced concrete and steelwork structures to withstand dynamic loads including earthquake motions, blast, wind, rain and snow loading. Experience working on reinforced concrete and steelwork marine structures and jetties. Experience of producing robust technical justification to allow for relevant civil/structural design modifications to be authorised within a high hazard industry. Apply appropriate theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, manufacture, construct, commission, operate, maintain, decommission and re-cycle engineering processes, systems, services and products in a nuclear/high risk environment. Qualifications Civil/Structural Engineering Degree Incorporated Engineer (or equivalent experience) Location The role is Hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent in the office in Glasgow City Centre or at site in Helensburgh.
