Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us . Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join our Critical Reagents Management Group. This role will support the qualification, characterization, and lifecycle management of critical reagents used in cell-based and molecular assays, with a strong emphasis on Flow Cytometry–based applications . The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in multi-parameter flow cytometry, assay troubleshooting, and data analysis, along with experience supporting regulated environments. In this individual contributor, lab-based role, the Associate Scientist will work in a collaborative environment to perform various analytical testing to support critical reagent generation and qualification. This position will report to the Manager of Critical Reagent Management group.   The successful candidate must have hands on experience with various bioanalytical techniques including ELISA, qPCR, ddPCR and flow cytometry and the ability to interface with multiple groups, the ability to independently perform tasks, interpret results, and troubleshoot. Role and Responsibilities Execution of Flow Cytometry (multi-color panels, antibody titrations), Molecular assays (DNA extraction, qPCR, ddPCR) and multiplexed cell-based assays (Elisa, AlphaLisa, Co-culture, Luminex, MSD, proliferation assays, etc.). Data analysis and reporting with an emphasis on fast and high-quality data turnaround. Partnering with Method Development groups to support assay development, qualification, and transfer. Developing processes and methods to improve lab execution and data analysis efficiency. Timely and thorough documentation and completion of electronic laboratory notebooks Author reports detailing experimental work and summarizing results Ensure proper operation and routine maintenance of all laboratory equipment Order, track, maintain inventory of lab supplies and reagents Required Qualifications Associate Scientist requires BS in a scientific discipline with 2+ year of experience  Solid knowledge of immunology and cell biology techniques and data analysis Demonstrated ability to effectively work in cross functional teams, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects. Demonstrated experience with Flow Cytometry assays, cell-based and molecular assays. Experience working in a self-driven, performance/results oriented, fast paced matrix environment. Excellent problem-solving skills. Proficiency utilizing MS Office products. Working knowledge of statistical software (R, JMP, Minitab) is preferred.  The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience.
