The Executive Associate II, Global Medical Affairs, Neuroscience, will provide high‑level administrative and strategic support to the SVP, Global Head of Medical Affairs, Neuroscience. We are seeking a dynamic, performance‑driven, well‑organized, and highly adaptable individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment. The ideal candidate is able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make informed decisions on behalf of the SVP related to calendar, scheduling, and travel. This individual will consistently demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and strong collaboration across teams. This position will report directly to the SVP, Global Head of Medical Affairs, Neuroscience. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the SVP, Global Medical Neuroscience, enabling effective leadership, prioritization, and decision-making Proactively manage a highly complex and fast‑changing executive calendar, balancing competing priorities and anticipating shifts in business needs Act as a key liaison between the SVP and senior internal and external stakeholders, including Executive Leadership Team members and cross‑functional partners Prepare, coordinate, and refine materials for executive-level meetings, governance forums, leadership reviews, and external engagements with accuracy and confidentiality Support planning and execution of major medical congresses, leadership meetings, advisory boards, and offsites, ensuring seamless logistics, preparation, and follow‑through Anticipate organizational needs and potential risks; independently resolve issues and drive solutions that enable smooth day‑to‑day and long‑term operations Manage complex domestic and international travel arrangements and expense reporting in full compliance with BMS policies and global requirements Track key initiatives, action items, and deliverables on behalf of the SVP to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely execution Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism Collaborate closely with Chiefs of Staff and Executive Associates across the enterprise to support alignment, consistency, and enterprise-wide effectiveness Key Competency Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment Experience acting as a lead or mentor to other administrative assistants Demonstrated ability to take initiative and adapt to frequently changing priorities Strong ability to work and think independently, analyze issues, solve complex problems, and deliver high‑quality work with strong attention to detail Qualifications & Experience Education: High School Diploma required; some college coursework preferred Experience: Minimum of 3 years as an Executive Associate and 7 years of administrative‑related experience; prior BMS and Executive Associate experience strongly preferred #LI-HYBRID If you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.  The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience.
