% OF TIME (optional) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 25% Build up and manage running community – Races Develop the execution plan of brand / product placement in races, marathons, trail runs, triathlons, etc.; include but not limited to, brand logos , products on foot, onsite materials productions , GWPs , Social posts etc. Manage the execution and event agency management to ensure the execution of the plan and implement project timelines Support the Assistant Marketing Manager in larger events, such as UTMB , , major city Marathons ,etc.;  including but not limited to sponsorship partner exploration, co-ordination with organisers and venue design, setup, on-site support, sales support, as well as data base collecting from event, and prepare review reports 35% Build up and manage running community – Grassroots and Retail Orientated Build up the grassroots running programs plan through Run Clubs, Retail Product Trial initiatives according to annual / seasonal GTM, local race calendar, social topics, etc.; Manage the agency in daily operation, including budget plan, materials production, onsite operation , runners’ social WOM management ,etc,.; Look for Co-branding, cross- industry, cross activity opportunities in HOKA grassroots, to further expand the runners’ base and to bring new fresh content / experience to runners; Manage execution of Grassroot initiatives Master Class series and Brand alliance initiatives 25% Retail Marketing Execute Brand Refresh in Retail in co-ordination with design agency and Retail accounts. Ensure implementation of the Branded walls in retail accounts and product launches as per brand guidelines 15% Support the Elite Team Prepare a seeding list every season Order seeding samples per season and maintain inventory Provide daily support, including the product seeding, major races onsite support product / race / training feedback discussion, etc.; Introduce new products to the athletes through product trials, working closely with the Merchandising team, share athlete feedback wrt product trials Co-ordinate travel to races, press interviews etc as required Scout for new talent, influencers and up-coming athletes, seek for proper candidate athletes to present HOKA, or to be the included in HOKA Elite Team QUALIFICATIONS Education & Any Certifications Required University degree or above. good Cantonese and English written skills. Year(s) of Experience & Background Required Minimum 3 years of Event Management experience                   Functional & Technical Competencies - Event agency background, with experience to implement event/campaign/project for Sporting goods brands in Hongkong - Experience in sports brand marketing is highly preferred; - Experience in sports event planning, execution & results tracking a must - Passion in outdoor or sports is a must, if in running will be a plus; - Personal connection in sports/outdoor industry with race sponsors, medias, runners, community etc; - Travel may be required (at least once a quarter) -  Presentation and Report writing skills required in Oral and Written, Chinese and basic English is required; - Energetic and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
