Provide support for: general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and service to production tasks. Assist in the documentation and implementation of maintenance procedures as outline by skilled crafts. Aid skilled maintenance technicians which may include, assisting in the troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of our operations. Assist in the establishment and maintaining of critical spare parts inventory in support of equipment reliability and up-time. Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Currently enrolled in a two (2) year technical degree program in a maintenance related field. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: A basic understanding of shop equipment including hand tools, saws, drill press and welding with a willingness to learn Possess a high regard and understanding for workplace safety and housekeeping practices. Excellent mechanical aptitude is critical, as represented by academic performance and past experiences.
