Job Description: The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Consumer Health Care Supplier Quality Specialist , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Driving and managing the supplier quality system for 3M’s Medical Quality Management System. Leading the supplier selection process, including risk assessments, audits, and cross‑functional collaboration. Leading the supplier prioritization process to ensure focus on the most critical partners. Managing supplier inputs for New Product Introduction and Product Change projects. Organizing and leading supplier quality audits to ensure ongoing compliance and quality excellence. Monitoring, reviewing, and documenting supplier performance ratings, and providing clear, actionable feedback. Using data analytics to generate insights on the performance of key suppliers. Leading supplier improvement initiatives, including corrective action activities . Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Minimum five (5) years of combined experience Quality Engineering, Supplier Management, Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis and/or Design Control Two (2) years in medical device and/or quality management system experience such as International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 13485 Fluent in English ​ Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Minimum of 2 years of experience leading or actively participating in Supplier Quality Audits. Experience leading PPAP and SPQP with suppliers Minimum of 2 years of experience in product engineering, process engineering, quality assurance or related technical field.   Experience working with suppliers in a quality improvement capacity is desired. Experience with statistical analysis.
